Established in 2004, PT Hi Tech Marine Inspection is a non-destructive testing (NDT) and rope access inspection company based in Batam, Indonesia. We help operators and fabricators verify the condition of their assets — pressure vessels, piping, tanks, welds and ship structures — without dismantling them or taking them out of service.
Our personnel are qualified and certified in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A and ISO 9712. Every inspection is carried out with calibrated equipment and documented in a clear, traceable report you can rely on for technical and commercial decisions.

Certified Personnel
Our inspectors are qualified and certified in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A and ISO 9712, covering ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle and dye penetrant methods, as well as advanced techniques such as phased array (PAUT), TOFD and eddy current testing. Our rope access technicians are IRATA certified. Our NDT and ultrasonic thickness gauging services are approved by leading classification societies, including ABS, BKI, BV, RINA, ClassNK, KR, DNV, IRS and LR.
Rope Access Capability
Many assets sit in places that are difficult and expensive to reach — tank shells, flare stacks, ship hulls, offshore structures and confined spaces. Using rope access, our IRATA-certified technicians reach those points safely and efficiently, with far less scaffolding and far less downtime for your operation.
